Job Position: Division Environmental Manager (DEM) – Stormwater / NPDES

HB NEXT is seeking a Charlotte, NC based Division Environmental Manager to join one of our growing teams in NorthCarolina. 

Position Overview:
The Division Environmental Manager (DEM) is responsible for leading and managing teams of Environmental Consultants across various projects and clients. A successful DEM will bring extensive experience in environmental management, excel in teamwork, and possess strong problem-solving skills. This role involves overseeing project initiation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Project Starts: Oversee the initiation of new projects.
  • Internal Site Quality Audits/Quarterly Reviews: Conduct internal site quality audits and quarterly reviews to ensure compliance and high standards.
  • Additional Training: Provide and arrange additional training based on the results of internal site quality audits.
  • Vacation Schedules and Coverage Planning: Manage vacation schedules and plan coverage to ensure consistent team availability.
  • Emerging Leadership and Intermediate Management Training: Participate in leadership and management training programs to enhance skills and leadership capabilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Independent Problem Solving: Ability to address and resolve issues proactively and independently.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring quality and productivity across the division.
