HB NEXT is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Safety & Training Administrator. This entry-level position will assist in the coordination, management, and administrative tasks related to training classes, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist the training team with clerical duties, including data entry, filing and other related tasks as needed.
- Material Preparation: Ensure all necessary training materials (e.g., handouts, student manuals, tests, presentations, etc.) are ready for each session, including printing and organizing materials.
- Class Scheduling: Assist with scheduling training sessions, ensuring all logistics are in place for each class.
- Communication Support: Serve as a point of contact for trainees and instructors, answering questions related to class schedules, locations, and resources.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of attendance, completed training cards, feedback, and other completion data for each training session.
- Technical Assistance: Provide basic technical support for virtual training sessions (if applicable), including troubleshooting minor issues and assisting participants with access.
- Other tasks may be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Safety & Training Operations
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Some college coursework preferred)
- Experience: No prior experience required. Ideal for individuals looking to start a career in training and development or administrative support.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and grow in a professional setting.
- Work Schedule: Flexible part-time hours (approximately 16-25 hours per week), including occasional evenings or weekends depending on training schedule.
