HB NEXT, a regulatory compliance firm (www.hbnext.com), is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team in the Atlanta, GA, area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, extremely ethical, and able to serve as a subject matter expert in safety and compliance. The position demands high performance and results. Able to write policy, teach, train, and consult clients in the construction and general industry.

Requirements:
  • Develop safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop site-specific safety policies and procedures for various trades.
  • Must be proficient in the use of prequalification platforms i.e. ISNetworld, Avetta, PEC, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in safety management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or related field.
  • Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician) preferred.
  • OSHA 500
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety administration or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
